Very rare Cumbrae Morris of Glasgow 3-piece walnut bedroom suite, featuring a wardrobe, chest of drawers and dressing table. Beautiful matching veneers, recently repolished and in showroom condition.
This is a very rare and outstanding Cumbrae Morris of Glasgow 3-piece retro bedroom suite, dating from the early 1950s to early 1960s. The suite is crafted from walnut and sycamore and is in excellent showroom condition throughout, having recently been professionally repolished. Each piece features beautiful matching veneers, creating a stunning and distinctive appearance. The suite was produced by Neil Morris of Glasgow for Cumbrae Furniture, with the manufacturer’s name inscribed. The set consists of a compact 2-door wardrobe, a matching chest of drawers and a large dressing table, providing excellent storage while retaining a stylish mid-century design. There are no splits, loose joints, woodworm or noticeable marks, making this a particularly impressive example that is seldom seen on the market.
