This superb Art Deco walnut writing desk is a stylish vintage piece dating from the late 1930s to early 1950s. The desk is in very good clean condition and has recently been repolished, highlighting the beautiful walnut veneers on the top and drawer fronts. It features three smaller drawers on each pedestal, providing useful storage, with a large central kneehole offering generous legroom. All the drawer handles are original, and the desk also has a charming small gallery, which may have been added later but complements the design beautifully. A practical and elegant piece, this desk would work equally well in a home office, study, bedroom, or contemporary interior. The desk measures 30 inches (76 cm) high, 50 inches (127 cm) wide, and 21 inches (53 cm) deep, with a kneehole height of 22 inches (56 cm) and kneehole width of 27 inches (69 cm).
