A superb compact Old Charm solid oak extending writing desk featuring a beautiful oxblood tooled leather writing surface, three drawers, a large kneehole drawer and a useful extension leaf. Dating from approximately 1960–1980, this Tudor Brown desk combines classic antique-style character with practical workspace and storage.
This is a superb small Old Charm extending writing desk, designed in a beautiful Victorian and Arts & Crafts style. The desk is crafted from solid oak and is presented in very good clean condition, with only light wear consistent with its age and no significant damage. It features a beautiful oxblood tooled leather writing surface that remains in very good condition. The desk offers excellent storage with three drawers to the right-hand side and a large drawer above the kneehole, all complemented by attractive hand-cut dovetail joints. A useful extension leaf can be pulled out when additional workspace is required. The original metal handles are all present and in very good order. Manufactured by Old Charm, a respected maker of high-quality antique-style furniture, this desk dates from approximately 1960–1980 and has the Tudor Brown colour finish. Its compact size makes it ideal for a home office, study, bedroom or living space, while its classic styling allows it to work equally well in traditional and contemporary interiors. Dimensions are approximately 29 inches high, with a 24-inch kneehole, 36 inches wide and 21 inches deep. Collection is available, or delivery can be arranged at an additional cost, with two-person delivery available in most cases.
