This superb retro Ercol extending coffee table is a rare and attractive example of classic British Ercol furniture, dating from the early 1960s. The table is presented in very good clean condition with no colour fading or noticeable marks and retains its original retro Ercol label. Made from elm with beech components, it features a useful lower tier that provides ideal storage for magazines, books and other living-room essentials. A particularly desirable feature is the extending design, with a leaf at each end that can be pulled out when additional table space is required. The table measures approximately 14 inches high, 41 inches wide when closed and 53 inches when fully extended, with a depth of 17 inches. This rare vintage Ercol coffee table combines practical functionality with timeless mid-century styling and would make a beautiful addition to a retro, traditional or contemporary interior.
