Very rare retro Ercol fitted two-door wardrobe in excellent condition, made from solid elm with a built-in chest of drawers, original label, working lock and key. Dating from the early 1960s.
This is a superb and very rare retro Ercol fitted two-door Compactum wardrobe, offered as part of a suite that is listed separately. Please note that this sale is for the wardrobe only. The wardrobe is in excellent condition with no splits, loose joints, woodworm or noticeable marks. Made from solid elm, it features a built-in chest of drawers providing a huge amount of useful storage space. The wardrobe stands on typical Ercol castors, making it surprisingly easy to move, and although it is very heavy, it can be dismantled if required. It retains its original Ercol label and has a working lock with the key supplied. We date this exceptional wardrobe to the early 1960s. The dimensions are approximately 72 inches high, 48 inches wide and 21 inches deep. Collection is available, or delivery can be arranged at an additional cost. We carry out the majority of deliveries ourselves and, where possible, use a two-man delivery team. We aim to deliver within 10 days of payment and try to provide a three-hour delivery window. For complete peace of mind, we offer a full refund including delivery costs if you are not happy with the item, including when our recommended courier is used.
