Very rare retro Danish Kurt Østervig drinks cabinet in original untouched condition, crafted from high-quality rosewood with a maple interior and excellent storage.
This is a very rare and high-quality retro Danish drinks cabinet designed by the sought-after designer Kurt Østervig. The cabinet is made from beautiful solid rosewood with a maple interior and remains in original, untouched condition, with no serious marks or noticeable colour fading. The interior provides a generous amount of storage for drinks, glasses and accessories, while the middle drawer includes a removable chessboard, adding to its unique appeal. Purchased locally from someone who had worked in Denmark during the 1960s, the cabinet has remained in the same home and room ever since, with only light cleaning carried out. We date this exceptional piece to the late 1950s or early 1960s. Overall, this is a superb and highly collectible Danish drinks cabinet, rarely seen on the market and especially difficult to find in such original condition.
